There seems to be something of a juicing phenomenon occurring just now. Or maybe it’s always been around and I’m only noticing it more now since I have a juicer! I was given my juicer for my birthday last year and lets just say it is really well used! I have at least one fresh juice a day and the fun part is trying out different fruits and vegetables, some combinations have been a success whilst others haven’t!
I made this juice the other morning and as it was a very cold morning I put the juice in a pan and warmed it up slightly. I’m so glad I did, it is lovely served warm. Now I must admit that it does look a bit like pond water unappealing when warmed through, but it is so delicious, I’d urge you to give it a try.
When I first made this I added a celery stalk but didn’t have any left when I made it again and to be honest it still tastes just as good. A handful of spinach would be nice too.
Ingredients
-3 apples
-2 pears
-piece of ginger approx 1″ in size, peeled
How To Make
Juice all the ingredients then pour into a pan and warm gently.
Serve warm in a mug.
Alternatively you could serve it over ice.
Enjoy 🙂
I would try this, I have a new fondness for fruit/veg drinks and this sounds rather lovely!!
It’s really nice warmed up, perfect in the morning or evening just now. As I said in the post, when you warm it through it doesn’t look too appealing but tastes lovely! x
