Mulled Beetroot Juice

IMG_1388

The other day I made myself a fresh juice which I haven’t done for a while now and decided to warm the juice up slightly as it was such a cold day.  I love having a warmed juice and I then decided that I’d try the recipe again but this time I’d add some spices and see if that worked well and it does!

This juice is full of goodness, beetroot have been used for many years for their medicinal purposes mainly for disorders of the liver due to their stimulating effects on the livers detoxification processes.  Celery and oranges are both excellent sources of vitamin C and ginger is well known for alleviating poor digestion symptoms.  This drink would be ideal if you’ve had one too many glasses of wine the night before at your Christmas party.

Serves 2
